“Burn 45”

New Class coming this week “BURN 45”


What we do in this class:

“Burn 45” is our CrossFit Lite workout, which has the same principles as a regular CrossFit class (Constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement) except we will focus mainly on Metabolic Conditioning (MetCon) with scaled down weights or body weight movements at a high intensity. It will be sweaty!! 


“Burn 45’’ is a simple, intense and fun 45 minute conditioning/weight loss focused program. THIS IS NOT A BOOTCAMP…it’s very important that we stay true to the roots of the CrossFit class experience. You can expect a warm-up where a coach will prepare you for everything you will do in your WOD (Work Out of the Day) and that they will be with you every step of the way. You will be challenged but we won’t throw anything at you that you can’t handle.


The “Burn 45” classes will exclude our more challenging CrossFit movements, so you won’t be doing handstand pushups, muscle ups, rope climbs, Olympic lifts or the like. You will be doing the basic cardio and bodyweight movements like pushups, air squats, sit-ups, running, rowing, biking, jump rope, etc. We will also throw in some medicine ball, kettlebell and empty barbell exercises, but the focus will not be on strength. We will focus on endurance, flexibility and stamina.


This is a great intro to CrossFit, or for anyone who just wants to come along, blow off some steam and get a serious sweat on! This will be suitable for the seasoned athlete or the beginner! Did I say it will be sweaty?

What We Do

Our goal at tribe is to create a great gym experience for those that have struggled to find success or are just fed up of conventional gyms. With progressive programming, good coaching and a great gym community working hard together, you will quickly see progress and feel great after every class! 


Fitness is made up of lots of different elements, strength, cardiovascular endurance, power and mobility to name a few, and we work on all these things constantly creating so much variety in every session, you will never do the same workout twice!

We have dedicated strength phases in all our classes as well as a conditioning phase to end the session. 


You don't need to spend hours and hours at the gym either, 2/3 hours a week is enough to see great results, mentally and physically!  


At Tribe we strive to be different, we have created an environment where you can come along and feel welcome and part of a community! At Tribe people will know your name! The gym should not be a scary, intimidating or lonely place! 


​One of my goals as the coach is to create a positive and enjoyable place to come work out, where going to the gym is no longer a chore, but the part of your day you actually look forward to! I want you to come, work hard and have fun! Everything we do at the gym is scalable to all fitness levels, and progressions are easy to see.

Nutrition

We don't only focus on the training programmes, you will learn about nutrition as well. I don't believe that restrictive diets, that are not sustainable are any good. I teach methods that you can implement into your daily life that ARE sustainable, and in a sensible healthy manner which keeps in line with your individual health and fitness goals, and still enjoy some of the foods you enjoy from time to time!

On joining you will be provided with nutrition targets specific to your goals and advice on how to implement them! Just ask!

I’m Sam, owner and head coach at Tribe CrossFit Moira. I am married to Ruth, dad to Ellie and Harry, and I understand finding the time to train is not easy! 

Thankfully you don't have to spend hours on end in the gym to see results, a few hours a week and following our simple nutrtion plans will do the trick!


Im a big Spurs fan, partially retired footballer... and love watching and competing In CrossFit!
